**NEWS!! "VELODROME in DRAPER"
200 meters of smooth stuff coming soon.
We need your support to make this venue happen!!
Please call, write, or email us with your donations or to volunteer on the committee.
www.saltlakevelodrome.com
Updates: Draper City approved a velopark, and pending funding this project is happening. Project will include a 330M veldrome cycling track, inline skating track (200meter), derby/exhibition skating area(100meter), and a criterium track course, and connection to existing  Porter-Rockwell trailway.  It's been slow n' steady, but definitely forward progression since the proposed outdoor Velodrome facility concept was introduced some 3-4 years ago. SkateNow has been advocating as your skate representative and the driving force behind these efforts 110% to ensure a skate track be built as part of the projects facilities!  Having 100 & 200 meter sanctioned skate  tracks, along with the criterium track would be crucial in bringing organized roller sports to Utah, for events such as Track Inline Racing and Roller Derby. If you interested in becoming a financial sponsor or volunteer contact us at SkateNow and we'll let you know how to get involved.  If you like the short n'  fast track skating this is for you. We are going Utah the distance to put skating in on the map!  But, we need your help!  Please become a sponsor or get involved on  the committee to help bring this project to fruition.

**NEWS!! HEY SALT LAKE, ARE YOU READY to SKATE a MARATHON?
26 MILES to ROLL, BABY!
Want a full skating marathon? We cannot do it without your support and commitment to participate.
Please call, write, or email us with your support.  We will need skaters and volunteers.

We're planning & organizing inline events and we need your help and feedback. If you are up for the 13 or 26 miles contact us at SkateNow and let us know.  If you like the short stuff, please let us know that, too. We're going the distance to put skating in SLC on the map!

Meantime, please join SKATENOW annually for the Salt Lake City Marathon 10K Skate Race: Cancelled due to covid.
Next years date: Sat April 2021.
